Century’s return to the senior ranks will be made alongside a GT4 programme that is again expected to feature two BMW M4 GT4s.
Sant’Agata Bolognese 3 December 2018 – For the 2019 season, Lamborghini Squadra Corse will have a new factory driver. Dennis Lind from Denmark will be an official Lamborghini driver, along with Mirko Bortolotti, Andrea Caldarelli, Marco Mapelli, Giovanni Venturini, and new acquisitions Phil Keen and Franck Perera.
O’Brien fell just two points shy of the Drivers’ title during a debut campaign that saw he and Charlie Fagg finish third in the standings with Tolman Motorsport. Now the 24-year-old is remaining at the wheel of a 570S GT4 for his sophomore British GT season, albeit in the Pro/Am ranks with Balfe.
The long-time AMR customer has lined up factory FIA WEC ace Marco Sorensen to partner team owner and two-time Drivers’ champion Andrew Howard aboard its GT3 entry, while 2018’s Pro/Am runners-up Kelvin Fletcher and Martin Plowman have switched to Beechdean’s relaunched GT4 programme.

The vision is a car conceived for an innovative single-brand championship that combines race circuit and off-road track. Sant’Agata Bolognese/Rome, 15 November 2018 – The 2019 season of Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the one-make championship that once again next year will run on three different continents, kicks off in February in Dubai. The new season brings lots of news, with a new format for the Middle East and new circuits to enrich the calendars of the Super Trofeo Asia, Europe and North America.
From 15 to 18 November, the Vallelunga Circuit (Rome) will host the World Final, the pinnacle of the Lamborghini racing season, which will not only proclaim the continental champions of the Super Trofeo Europe, North America and Asia, but will also crown the 2018 world champions.
Two victories and two titles. International GT Open season successfully completed for Lamborghini: Andrea Rizzoli and Damiano Fioravanti took the first GT Open victory of the year for the #12 Ombra Racing Lamborghini at the end of race 1; #25 Imperiale Racing duo, Riccardo Agostini and Rik Breukers, grabbed race 2 win. The second win of the weekend for Lamborghini also sanctioned the success of Imperiale Racing in the Teams’ standings.
The announcement sees TF Sport extend its British GT commitment to the same class as where it all began back in 2014 when Devon Modell and Andrew Jarman finished runners-up at the end of the team’s debut season. It also comes less than two weeks after Tom Ferrier’s outfit renewed its commitment to the senior class with the new-shape Vantage GT3.
At the end of the gruelling 10-hour race, the Paul Miller Lamborghini skilfully piloted by Bryan Sellers, Madison Snow and endurance teammate Corey Lewis accomplished what they set out to do – take home the first-ever IMSA championship for their team owner and Lamborghini.

Lamborghini Squadra Corse announces its Factory Drivers for the 2019 season. The confirmed drivers are Mirko Bortolotti (2017 Blancpain GT Series champion and winner of the 2018 24 Hours of Daytona), Andrea Caldarelli (2017 Blancpain GT Series champion), Marco Mapelli (record-holder at Nürburgring-Nordschleife with the Aventador SVJ), and Giovanni Venturini (2017 GT Open champion), who will compete in the most prestigious international championships at the wheel of the new Huracán GT3 EVO, presented at Nürburgring on 15th September.
