With a jam packed schedule, ArmsUp Motorpsorts had no time off between events as this weekend they found themselves in Lexington, Ohio. Taking on the Formula Race Productions F2000 Pro Series at the famed Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, team driver James Roe turned a challenging weekend into a podium result as he and ArmsUp Motorsports were able to celebrate on Sunday afternoon.

My first race weekend in a proper “slicks and wings” race car was definitely an experience this past weekend at Road Atlanta. As announced very shortly before the weekend, I’ve joined Primus Racing for the 2018 Formula Race Promotions F2000 Championship.
Steve Jenks scored his first career F2000 Championship Series victory on Sunday morning at Road Atlanta. Jenks, starting from the outside of the front role in the No.68, took the lead at the drop of the green and fended off a race-long challenge from 2017 Champion Brandon Dixon, who finished second.
ArmsUp Motorsports is pleased to announce it will field James Roe Jr. for the 2018 F2000 season. James Roe Jr., of Naas, Kildare County, Ireland will drive the #66 Mazda powered car for ArmsUp Motorsports. The F2000 season opener at Road Atlanta will launch James’s US open wheel career.
The F1600, F2000 and Atlantic Championship Series are set to begin with an action-packed two-day weekend at Road Atlanta, April 21-22. For Series organizer Formula Race Promotions, it marks the 13th consecutive season of racing operations, with a bright seven-weekend season ahead.
Jay Howard Driver Development has two entries for the season opening F2000 Championship Series race at Road Atlanta, with Arias Deukmedjian in the No. 07 and Hayden Bowlsbey in the No. 3.
