The castle section looks great on TV and is also a lot of fun to drive. It is really tight so you have to be precise turning in as there is no room for error, especially with the wider cars we have now.
For the first time this season, Dale Coyne Racing rookie and driver of the #19 Paysafe Car, Zachary Claman De Melo, will be racing at a track at which he has prior experience aboard an Indy car, having had a successful test at the Barber Motorsports Park with the team in March.

Preparations for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring have gone exceptionally well, with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport taking P1 and P3 in the ADAC qualification race. We talked to Thomas Jäger, one of the drivers of the winning number 5 car entered by Mercedes-AMG Team BLACK FALCON.
Mercedes-AMG Motorsport enjoyed a perfect conclusion to its preparations for the 24-hour race: Victory and third place for the number 5 and 47 Mercedes-AMG GT3 at the ADAC Qualification Race for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The remaining Mercedes-AMG GT3 ended the six-hour race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in eighth and tenth place to round off a fine team result. The Mercedes-AMG GT4 also tasted success at the final test before the 24-hour race.

In an eventful and hectic 2018 Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix, the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team experienced two different sides to the race. Starting with a one pit stop strategy (from soft to medium tyres), Charles Leclerc showed a good and consistent pace in the first stint on soft tyres, and recovered positions, while Marcus Ericsson showed a strong midfield pace in the second part of the race on medium tyres. The Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team leaves Shanghai with Marcus Ericsson having finished in 16th and Charles Leclerc in 19th place. The young Monegasque driver experienced some issues with the balance of his car, after spinning off during his second stint and picking up damage to his floor. The team is analysing the collected data and starting their preparations for the next race which will take place on the Baku City Circuit.
The first Rome ePrix enjoyed huge popular success, which was not the case for Renault e.dams as Sébastien Buemi and Nicolas Prost could only manage sixth and fourteenth-place finishes. The ABB FIA Formula E Championship heads to Europe this Saturday, 14th April, for the first Rome (ITA) E-Prix. BMW works drivers António Félix da Costa (POR) and Tom Blomqvist (GBR) return to the cockpits of the MS&AD Andretti cars. Blomqvist was behind the wheel of the BMW iFE.18 in Maisach (GER) last Tuesday and completed the roll-out for the car, which BMW will be using for the works entry in Season 5 of Formula E.
