Prema Powerteam announced its fifth driver for the 2018 FIA Formula 3 European Championship season: Mick Schumacher. The 18-year-old German who finished third in the rookie ranking last year will contest his second season for the Italian squad.
Lando Norris (Carlin) was unbeatable in the Dutch dunes at Zandvoort: the talent, supported by the McLaren Formula 1 team, won the 19th race of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship season, almost nine seconds clear of BMW junior Joel Eriksson (Motopark).
Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) is the winner of the ninth race of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with the official status of the ‘Grand Prix de Pau’.
Gunther, 19, was runner-up to Williams F1 newcomer and Prema teammate Lance Stroll in F3 last year, and was signed by Mercedes' DTM branch as a test and reserve driver.
He'd joined Prema from Mucke, having raced for the Berlin-based outfit in German entry-level series ADAC Formel Masters, where he was runner-up in two successive campaigns, and the 2015 edition European F3.
