Li Chao secured a maiden GT Super Sprint Challenge (GTSSC) podium in Race 1 at the Zhuhai International Circuit. The Absolute Racing driver took second place in the #910 Porsche 911 GT3 R in the penultimate round of the amateur-focused series’ inaugural season.

ASTON MARTIN IS BACK IN THE ADAC GT MASTERS

James Bond is back in the cinema, and the preferred car manufacturer of the world’s most famous secret agent is back in the German GT Championship. The Prosport Racing team, from the Eifel region of Germany, will field an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the sixth race of the season at the Hockenheimring next weekend (22nd to 24th October). In a field of roughly 30 super sports cars, the addition of Aston Martin makes for an even wider range of manufacturers. Fans can look forward to an exciting race weekend with an entertaining programme both on the track and in the open paddock.

This weekend, the 10-time sports car racing champions will return for the first time since 2014, racing the No. 460 Porsche 911 GT3 R with Andy Wilzoch, and the No. 101 TKO Motorsports Bentley Continental GT3 with Memo Gidley. IMS will host the season finale weekend, where competitors of the 2021 GT America powered by aws championship will compete in two final 40-minute races October 15-16.
