The Porsche customer team KCMG has concluded the Spa 24 Hours in positions five and twelve. The 911 GT3 R driven by the two Belgians Maxime Martin and Laurens Vanthoor as well as last year’s winner from Britain Nick Tandy crossed the finish line after 554 laps in front of the sister car shared by Josh Burdon (Australia), Alexandre Imperatori (Switzerland) and Edoardo Liberati (Italy). The endurance classic in the Ardennes is regarded as one of the largest GT3 races in the world. This year, 58 vehicles from nine different manufacturers tackled the 7.004-kilometre rollercoaster circuit in four classes.
The contenders for this year’s TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa have completed two days of extensive running to kick off the final phase of preparations for the twice-around-the-clock race (29 July–1 August).
KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) will return to the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa on 29 July – 1 August with a works-supported entry featuring Nicky Tandy, Maxime Martin and works driver Laurens Vanthoor in the #47 Porsche 911 GT3 R.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R has impressively demonstrated its strengths in the initial phase of the 24-hour race. In ever-increasing rain during the first hour, works driver Kévin Estre put in an inspired drive. Taking up the race from eleventh in the so-called “Grello” run by the Manthey customer team, the Frenchman worked his way to the top within just four laps. After the first hours of racing, the No. 911 car is comfortably holding its own among the top group.

The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 will make its Macau FIA GT World Cup debut later this year after the Japanese manufacturer’s official partner team, KCMG, confirmed a three-car entry for the prestigious end-of-season event.
