KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) dominated the SP10 class in the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers, winning twice from pole position, to lay down a marker ahead of the ADAC TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

The Hong Kong-based squad got its weekend off to a fast start as Josh Burdon mastered the wet conditions to streak clear from pole position in Race 1, before handing over to teammate Edoardo Liberati, who continued to pull away from the chasing pack to secure victory.

The team continued to impress throughout Sunday’s four-hour race, with Liberati opening up a 90-second lead, before Burdon more than doubled KCMG’s advantage during his stint to complete a perfect weekend.

The duo will now be joined by their Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie teammate Martin Rump for next month’s blue-ribboned event, as they aim for SP10 class glory at the Green Hell.

The ADAC TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Nürburgring will take place on 18-21 May.

EDOARDO LIBERATI
“I’ve got to praise the whole team for a perfect weekend, it’s not often you come away with a pair of pole positions and two victories. It felt great to realise our potential and keep our momentum going, but now it’s straight back to work ahead of the 24 Hours.”

JOSH BURDON
“The ADAC 24h Qualifiers have been so positive for the team, every time we hit the track the car seems to be getting quicker, so it’s great to reward everyone for their hard work with such a brilliant result. I’m so excited for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, it’s a truly special race and I can’t wait to tackle it.”

MATT HOWSON TEAM MANAGER
“I’m extremely proud of the team and the drivers for the double win this weekend. It’s an event which is essentially a dress rehearsal for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, so to gather such valuable information is positive. The Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO was flawless throughout, and Edo and Josh handled the changeable conditions well to maximise the result. The N24 will never be easy, but I’m confident we’re now as prepared as we possibly can be to challenge for victory in the SP10 class.”

PAUL IPKCMG FOUNDER
“I’m incredibly proud of Team KCMG for their efforts this weekend, that makes it three wins in a row at the Nordschleife, which is a brilliant achievement. The crew has managed to gather a lot of information ahead of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and our attention has now turned to analysing that data to allow us to challenge for the win in the SP10 class. The #47 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO was fast all weekend, so hopefully we can maintain that performance when it counts next month.”
