Nielsen Racing head to Spa-Francorchamps with momentum very much on their side having secured victory and taken the Michelin Le Mans Cup championship lead last time out at Circuit de la Sarthe and the Road to Le Mans.

Tony Wells and Colin Noble took a dominant win in the first of two races supporting the 24 Hours of Le Mans and now enjoy a nine-point lead in the standings. They finished third at the Belgian venue last year, and as teammates and rivals, first and second in 2018. Once again this year, they will be joined by Mark Carder and Alex Mortimer in the #20 entry.

In the European Le Mans Series, it’s been a tougher season for the #7 pairing, with misfortune dogging much of the campaign. However, their track record in LMC, plus their ELMS runner-up position last year (and third in 2019) proves that they are more than capable of running at the front this coming Sunday.

Nick Adcock, Austin McCusker and Max Koebolt line up together in the sister #8 Ligier JS P320 and have scored points in each of the four rounds to date. A return of their Barcelona form, where they notched up ten points for sixth position, again shows that they have the potential to compete at the sharp end of the 16-car LMP3 field.

Round 5 of the 2021 European Le Mans Series will take place in Belgium, with the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps at the world-famous circuit in the Ardennes. The grid will consist of 39 cars run by 28 different teams, with 117 drivers taking part representing a total of 27 different nations from all four corners of the world.
