After the summer break, the 2021 European Le Mans Series of 1AIM Villorba Corse starts again from the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and the Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio will once again be the protagonist of the international endurance series, now in its fifth and penultimate round of the season. Behind the wheel of the LMP3 #18 Ligier JS P320 powered by Nissan, racing drivers Alessandro Bressan, Andreas Laskaratos and Damiano Fioravanti are ready to compete on the Belgian legendary circuit and the whole team gets back on one of the most exciting and demanding tracks of them all after the top-10 finish clinched in the home round held at Monza two months ago, when 1 AIM Villorba Corse made a strong comeback being able to show a competitive race pace again after two unfortunate weekends in a row (Austria and France).

A total of 39 cars (including 16 LMP3 prototypes) are expected to participate in the 4 Hours of Spa. After two free practice sessions and qualifying, to be held on Saturday at 13:27hs (Central European Time), the race will get underway on Sunday, September 19 at 11:00hs CET with full live streaming on www.europeanlemansseries.com .

Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal, said: “For Spa and actually in ELMS in general we would need a little more luck as we are really convinced of the competitiveness of our package. So far we have not shown our full potential due to a series of negative and unpredictable coincidences. We certainly do not believe in bad luck, however, considering everything, we would deservea ‘lucky bonus’. We really like Spa that certainly is a difficult circuit, but we are confident, very motivated and for sure well prepared for this challenge”.

Bressan added: “I’m happy to be back with the team after the summer ‘break’ which saw me really busy in the United States. Spa is a new challenge for me, like Paul Ricard, because it’s the first time I race here. It’s a track that demands a certain respect. I will use every session to learn the course and get to the race with a pace that will allow us to fight for an important result. I hope in the weather and in the absence of external problems!”.
