Generation AMR SuperRacing will field a brand-new Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 for Matthew George and James Holder in the GT4 South European Series Rounds 5 and 6 at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya, Spain.

The series organized by Race Ready with SRO Motorsport Group’s support is creating interest amongst European GT4 teams and has drawn another high-profile entrant for the third event of the inaugural season.

Generation AMR SuperRacing will join the GT4 South European Series pack in the located on the northeast coast of the Iberian Peninsula for the first time. The Banbury-based effort, which has campaigned GT4 machinery at home and abroad in recent years, will field James Holder and Matthew George in the Pro-Am class. The British duo have been seen competing in the GT4 European Series and in the Championnat de France FFSA GT – GT4 France, .

Diogo Ferrão, Race Ready’s CEO, said: “It’s great to see that the interest in the series goes beyond the Iberian borders. It’s the second British team joining us, and it shows that we are doing something right here. We will keep working hard to have a strong grid in Barcelona, with more cars to further enhance the quality. I would like to give a warm welcome to Generation AMR SuperRacing, James Holder and Matthew George. I wish them a very good weekend and I‘d like to thank them for their support.”

Matthew George added: “We will be racing at Barcelona to evaluate the series for next season. We are competing in the GT4 European Series this season, but we started with an old car, so we are not in the title hunt. We’re weighting our options for 2020. Last year we were very successful on this circuit in the Championnat de France FFSA GT – GT4 France weekend. It is a good place to get to grips with the championship as we already have a good acknowledge of the car and the track.”

The series promoted by Race Ready in partnership with SRO Motorsports Group kicked off at Nogaro, in the Coupe de Pâques, followed by a round held at Jarama. The next round will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, on August 30th-31st, with the championship set to conclude later in the year with two double-headers in Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and Circuito do Estoril.
