The 87th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans fired into action as team Cetilar Racing entered on Sunday the official testing. The #47 Dallara-Gibson LMP2 car technically supported by Villorba Corse run more than 1000 kms in the hands of Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi.
It was a very intensive day, focused for basic race setup, looking forward the third cosecutive participation of the all-Italian squad at the La Sarthe “marathon” scheduled for 15th and 16th June.
“We leave Le Mans in a great mood”, Roberto Lacorte commented, “We worked hard to find the most suitable solutions for the 24 Hours race. We didn’t find the fast lap, neither tried the super-soft tires. Our purpose was just to make our car easy to drive. The result was very good”.
“We have to work on the setup to improve the performance of the car. We are quite positive”, added Giorgio Sernagiotto.
