New year, new colors! Bruno Carneiro signs with the prestigious B-Max Racing Team to compete the first half of the 2018 Japanese F3 season, with 1st option to extend his season pending additional sponsorship.

We are very proud and honored to announce that the BCM Group and B-Max Racing Team have signed a contract that will allow 18-year-old Bruno Carneiro to compete the first 10 races of the 2018 All Japan F3 Championship driving a Dallara F317 chassis powered by a Volkswagen A41 OXY engine.

B-Max Racing Team is one of the most respected racing teams in the world with presence in every segment of the Japanese/Asian racing scene in F4, F3, Super Formula and Super GT. B-Max Racing is responsible for the successful careers of drivers like Jann Mardenborough, who started with the team in F3 and it is now one of the biggest stars in Super Formula.

The team will have 1st option to retain Carneiro’s services for the second part of the Championship if the young racer manages to attract more sponsors and partners that will allow him to complete the final 9 races of the season.

They also want to have Carneiro competing in the extremely challenging and respected 2018 65th FIA Macau Grand Prix, a race won by the likes of Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Antonio Felix da Costa, Felix Rosenqvist just to name a few.

After a very difficult but highly regarded 2017 rookie season with the newcomers AlbirexRT from Niigata, the Brazilian-American racer will finally have a car that can give him the opportunity to be fighting for podiums with wins and a solid prospect to be eventually promoted to Super Formula or Super GT in the future.

“We have kept an eye on Bruno throughout the 2017 season. After the results he achieved last year, we are confident that he can be fighting for wins in one of our cars. In early October we invited Bruno to visit our team and we started to talk.” said team B-Max’s team principal Ryuji Kumita.

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY OFFERED BY B-MAX RACING.
