The opening weekend of the 2019 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season got underway at Brands Hatch with Lewis Plato (Motorbase Performance) topping both morning and afternoon practice sessions. In Friday’s combined times Plato was followed by 18-year-old Porsche GB 2018 / 2019 Junior Dan Harper (JTR) who finished the day just 0.106s behind his former teammate in P2. Recording the third fastest time of the day was 2018 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Rookie champion George Gamble (Amigos Redline Racing) – Plato, Harper and Gamble were covered by just 0.130s.

Last week, the team passed yet another marker on the way to its first race in season six of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. After a debut season outstanding for the victory they scored at the Nürburgring, Team ISR go into the 2019 ADAC GT Masters with renewed determination. The driver line-up is the same as before: last year’s duo of Filip Salaquarda (35, CZ) and Frank Stippler (43, GER) will be driving an upgraded Audi R8 LMS. The season opener of the Super Sports Car League will take place on the weekend of 26th – 28th April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
