Raton Racing by Target has revealed a full-season International GT Open assault with two brand new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evos. The Italy-based squad will be returning to the series for the third year, fielding a very strong driver line-up with the OPPO support.

Team’s newcomers Liang Jatong and Raffaele Giammaria will share the duties behind the wheel of the first car. Giammaria, a veteran of GT races who claimed the Italian title in 2014, for the past two seasons has driven a Huracán in various championships including International GT Open. The 26-year-old Chinese racer Jatong has been crowned in 2017 the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Champion in the Pro/Am class, before making the step up to GT3 last season.

Returning to both International GT Open and Raton Racing by Target is another Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro/Am Champion, Alberto Di Folco. The Italian, who turned 23 three only two weeks ago, has been part of the team led by Roberto Venieri last year. Di Folco will be partnered in the second Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo car by Bronze driver Christoph Lenz to complete a Pro/Am crew. The 39-year-old Swiss already entered two International GT Open events with Target Racing last year and is a veteran of Endurance races.

Head of Motorsport Lamborghini, Giorgio Sanna said: “We are happy to continue our collaboration with a professional team like Raton Racing By Target. Customer racing is the real spirit of the GT races, as well as an extraordinary training for our GT3 Junior Drivers like Alberto and Liang”.

“I am so excited to announce two such quality line-ups with the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evos. We have all of the ingredients to mount a strong challenge”, team owner Roberto Tanca commented.

The International GT Open season kicks off in France, at the Paul Ricard circuit, on 27th/28th April, before heading to Hockenheim (25th/26th May), Spa-Francorchamps (8th/9th June), Red Bull Ring (13th/14th July), Silverstone (7th/8th September), Barcelona (21st/22nd September) and Monza (12th/13th October).
