FLYING LIZARD PREPARES FOR HOME TURF RACES IN GT AMERICA AND GT4 AMERICA AT SONOMA RACEWAY

It’s home race week for Flying Lizard Motorsports as the sports car racing team continues the SRO America race season. With three Aston Martin Vantage GT4 cars and one Porsche 911 GT3 R, the team will have four races in two race series spread across the race weekend. At their home track of Sonoma Raceway, the team will participate in Rounds Three and Four of the GT America Powered by AWS and the Rounds One and Two of the Pirelli GT4 America series.

WRIGHT MOTORSPORTS PORSCHES READY FOR ACTION AT SONOMA RACEWAY

A new season in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS begins this week at Sonoma Raceway, and Wright Motorsports will launch the pursuit of the championship title with two Porsche 911 GT3 R entries. The father and son-in-law duo of Charlie Luck and Jan Heylen return to the series in No. 45 Porsche (type 992), and will be joined by team newcomers Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer in the No. 120 Porsche (type 991.2).

PORSCHE PENSKE MOTORSPORT ANNOUNCES DRIVER CREW FOR THIRD WORKS 963 AT LE MANS

The Porsche Penske Motorsport works team has finalised its driver line-up for its third Porsche 963 at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. UK driver Nick Tandy and Frenchman Mathieu Jaminet join forces with Felipe Nasr from Brazil in the cockpit of the No. 75 hybrid prototype. Works driver teammate Matt Campbell from Australia supports the team at the highlight of the year as the reserve driver.

CAPACITY GRID FOR 2023 PORSCHE CARRERA CUP DEUTSCHLAND CHAMPIONSHIP

From 27 to 29 April, the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland heads into the new season at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, with a capacity grid and a talented driver line-up. “This year’s grid includes 32 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars fielded by ten teams. These are the ideal prerequisites for a gripping championship and I can’t wait for the season opener with a huge contingent of Porsche racing cars,” says Alexander Pollich, CEO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH.

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) is proud to announce that two icons whose passion and determination positively influenced the brand both on the track and the road have accepted the nomination as Rennsport Grand Marshal. Alwin Springer, a leader in U.S. Porsche racing as well as very first CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America will be joined by an 18-year veteran driver of the Porsche works team, Patrick Long.

GRT ALL SET FOR THE 2023 GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE SEASON

In a month’s time, the 2023 season will finally get underway for GRT at the world-famous Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. After the long winter break, the opening round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup will take place at the Grand Prix circuit in Italy. The Lamborghini team from Austria will field two new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2s in their return to the top-class endurance series. With the number 85 car already featuring the line-up for the season at the official tests, the squad led by team boss Gottfried Grasser has now also finalized the pairing for the sister car.

TEAM JOOS SPORTWAGENTECHNIK LINES UP AGAIN IN THE ADAC GT MASTERS

Team Joos Sportwagentechnik will start in the ADAC GT Masters again in 2023, and will run a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R in the new season. Team principal Michael Joos will reveal shortly the two drivers who will be at the wheel of the Porsche. When the season gets underway from 9th to 11th June as part of the “Festival of Dreams” at the Hockenheimring, the team from Vöhringen in Bavaria will again join the battle for winner’s trophies.

STUNNING 1-2 OVERALL FINISH FOR AUDI AS SEPANG 12 HOURS RETURNS IN STYLE

With just a handful of minutes remaining on the clock before midnight on Saturday, the chequered flag was unfurled at the end of the grueling Sepang 12 Hours. After an inch perfect race, a stunning 1-2 overall finish was delivered up for the team in some style as the legendary South East Asian endurance race returned to the calendar for the first time since it last ran in 2016.
