Lamborghini Urus ST-X Concept: the first Super SUV for racing

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Rome, 17 November 2018 – During the 2018 World Finals, Lamborghini Squadra Corse unveils the Urus ST-X Concept, the racing version of the first Super SUV in the brand’s history. The vision is a car conceived for an innovative single-brand championship that combines race circuit and off-road track. The new format will debut in 2020 in Europe and the Middle East on specially prepared FIA-approved circuits, with an “arrive and drive” formula designed to offer driver-customers a complete package including car and technical support during the race weekends.

Lamborghini Super Trofeo: 2019 calendars and news

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Rome, 15 November 2018 – The 2019 season of Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the one-make championship that once again next year will run on three different continents, kicks off in February in Dubai. The new season brings lots of news, with a new format for the Middle East and new circuits to enrich the calendars of the Super Trofeo Asia, Europe and North America. 

GT Open: happy ending for Lamborghini in Barcelona

Two victories and two titles. International GT Open season successfully completed for Lamborghini: Andrea Rizzoli and Damiano Fioravanti took the first GT Open victory of the year for the #12 Ombra Racing Lamborghini at the end of race 1; #25 Imperiale Racing duo, Riccardo Agostini and Rik Breukers, grabbed race 2 win. The second win of the weekend for Lamborghini also sanctioned the success of Imperiale Racing in the Teams’ standings.

The 2019 Factory Drivers of Lamborghini Squadra Corse

Lamborghini Squadra Corse announces its Factory Drivers for the 2019 season. The confirmed drivers are Mirko Bortolotti (2017 Blancpain GT Series champion and winner of the 2018 24 Hours of Daytona), Andrea Caldarelli (2017 Blancpain GT Series champion), Marco Mapelli (record-holder at Nürburgring-Nordschleife with the Aventador SVJ), and Giovanni Venturini (2017 GT Open champion), who will compete in the most prestigious international championships at the wheel of the new Huracán GT3 EVO, presented at Nürburgring on 15th September.

FP2: Turner tops second practice as Mitchell leads the way in GT4

Nicki Thiim was second quickest for TF Sport whilst Jonny Cocker put the #69 Lamborghini third fastest overall. Fourth went to Yelmer Buurman with Phil Keen fifth in the #33 Barwell Motorsport machine. The #17 Aston Martin of Derek Johnston and Sorensen was sixth fastest as the top-eight was completed by Maxime Martin and the Nissan GT-R shared by Chris Buncombe and Struan Moore.
