Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s motorcade was involved in a crash, just after leaving an event at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, ABC News reports. The Canadians, presumably, have already apologized.

Trudeau, who was not involved in the crash himself, was unharmed and the procession of vehicles eventually continued course but three other people were injured in the accident. According to ABC, the driver of a Toyota Highlander accidentally turned in front of the procession of vehicles where she collided with a California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer:

The incident happened at 7:22 p.m. along Madera Road near Aristotle Street, California Highway Patrol spokeswoman Elizabeth Kravig told ABC News.

The driver, a female, and her son were taken to a hospital, as was a California Highway Patrol officer, KABC’s Jory Rand reported. The office was escorting the motorcade.

Kravig told ABC News that the CHP officer had “non-critical” injuries. The condition of the woman and her son is unknown.

The CHP officer, the driver of the Highlander and her son were those injured. ABC and a spokesperson for the CHP noted that the officer’s injuries were “not critical.”

More as we get it.
