The qualifying for the MOTEGI GT 300km RACE, Round 4 of the 2021 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series took place at Twin Rings Motegi in Tochigi Pref. on July 17 (Sat). In the GT500 class, the No. 1 STANLEY NSX-GT (Naoki Yamamoto/Tadasuke Makino) won pole position. In the GT300 class, Yasuda in the No.11 GAINER TANAX GT-R (Katsuyuki Hiranaka/Hironobu Yasuda) won his first SUPER GT pole position.

T3-HRT-Motorsport are set to continue in the 2021 ADAC GT Masters, so another outfit has already now at this early stage made the commitment to contest the series, in which the title ‘International German GT Champion’ will be bestowed next year. The German team are even planning to boost their line-up for next season while remaining focused on promoting young talent.

The FUJIMAKI GROUP SUZUKA GT 300km RACE, Round 6 of the 2020 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series took place at Suzuka circuit (one lap 5,807m × 52 laps) in Mie Prefecture on October 25 (Sun). In the GT500 class, the No. 23 MOTUL AUTECH GT-R (Tsugio Matsuda/Ronnie Quintarelli) came from the very back of the pack after a Qualifying crash to take a magnificent second straight win at Suzuka thanks to great pit stop timing. The GT300 class race saw the No. 21 Hitotsuyama Audi R8 LMS (Shintaro Kawabata/Tsubasa Kondo) grab a come-from-behind victory from 6th position on the grid.

The qualifying for the FUJIMAKI GROUP SUZUKA GT 300km RACE, Round 6 of the 2020 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series took place at Suzuka circuit in Mie Prefecture on October 24 (Sat). In the GT500 class, Fukuzumi drove the No. 8 ARTA NSX-GT (Tomoki Nojiri/Nirei Fukuzumi) to take his second straight pole position. In the GT300 class, Sakaguchi drove the No. 96 K-tunes RC F GT3 (Morio Nitta/Sena Sakaguchi) to win pole position. These two cars will start at the front of their respective classes in tomorrow’s race starting at 1:00 in the afternoon.

These two cars will start at the front of their respective classes in tomorrow’s race starting at 1:00 in the afternoon.

In the GT500 class, the race winner was the No. 37 KeePer TOM’S LC500 (Ryo Hirakawa/Nick Cassidy, but the season championship title went to the No. 6 WAKO’S 4CR LC500 that finished 2nd, giving drivers Kazuya Oshima and Kenta Yamashita their first Drivers Championship title. In the GT300 class, the No. 11 GAINER TANAX GT-R driven by Katsuyuki Hiranaka and Hironobu Yasuda won the race, while the Drivers Championship title went to the No. 55 ARTA NSX GT3 pair of Shinichi Takagi and Nirei Fukuzumi.

In the GT500 class, the No. 36 au TOM’S LC500 driven by Kazuki Nakajima and Yuhi Sekiguchi won its second Pole Position of the season following the one in Round 3 at Suzuka. In the GT300 class, the class pole position went to the No. 720 McLaren 720S (Seji Ara/Alex Palou). This was the first PP for both Palou and the team.
