ESM BRINGS NISSAN PROTOTYPES TO MID-OHIO

Following a second place finish last month at the Long Beach Grand Prix, Tequila Patrón ESM will travel to Lexington, Ohio this weekend for the next round in the IMSA WeatherTech series, the Acura SportsCar Challenge at Mid-Ohio SportsCar Course. The No. 2 Nissan Onroak DPi and the No. 22 Nissan Onroak DPi have each celebrated podium finishes in the last two races, and will look to carry that momentum into round four of the championship.

STUNNING BRANDS HATCH ENTRY FOR GT4 EUROPEAN SERIES

The GT4 European Series is heading to the UK this weekend (5-6 May) for the second meeting of the 2018 season. A capacity entry of 46 cars will take part in this year’s race, as two British GT contenders will make a guest appareance and join the regular entry of 44 cars on the 3.9km Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.

The Total 24 Hours of Spa will celebrate its 70th edition this year, with at least 11 different manufacturers aiming to conquer the Belgian endurance classic. SEVEN FERRARIS SEEK TO CONQUER THE BLANCPAIN GT ENDURANCE CUP AT MONZA

The Blancpain Endurance Cup kicks off at Monza this weekend. Points from the long race championship are added to the Blancpain Sprint Cup to produce the overall winner of the Blancpain GT series. Prizes are also awarded to the winners of the individual rankings. Each Cup is divided into Pro, Pro-Am and Am classes. Fifty-four cars will line up for the 180-minute race at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, representing 12 manufacturers, among which Ferrari is prominent with seven 488 GT3s.

Kicking off its fourth season, the GT Sports Club championship will make its debut at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale di Monza this weekend (20-22 April), with 19 entries across the three classes. For this year’s first round, SRO Motorsports Group’s Bronze-only series will act as the curtain-raiser to the popular Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, with a great variety of GT machinery. Ferrari, with eight cars, is the best represented brand.

GT POWER IN THE “GREEN HELL”: BMW M6 GT3 LINE-UP CONFIRMED FOR THE 24H NURBURGRING

BMW is once again represented with a strong contingent at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours (GER). The majority of those alternating at the wheel of the two BMW M6 GT3s fielded by ROWE Racing, with works support from BMW Motorsport, will be drivers from the GT works programmes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. A total of five BMW M6 GT3s will line up in the “Green Hell”. As well as ROWE Racing, FALKEN Motorsports will also run one car, while Walkenhorst Motorsport fields two BMW M6 GT3s. Among those in action at the wheel of the car in the livery of Premium Technology Partner Shell will be Augusto Farfus (BRA).
