The streets of Long Beach California come alive for this weekend’s BUBBA burger SportsCar Grand Prix at Long Beach as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship begins the first of three consecutive sprint races on the 2018 calendar. Twelve Hours of Sebring race winners and Round 2 champions of the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup, Tequila Patrón ESM is ready to get back on track for Round 3 of the IMSA Championship.

THE LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO CELEBRATES IT TENTH EDITION AND THE HURACAN EVO’S DEBUT

The Sepang round, which will officially kick off the 2018 edition of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia on April 14-15, and the Monza one, which will open the European series the following week, will inaugurate the tenth season of the one-make series for the racecars of Sant’Agata Bolognese.

EXPLORING NEW TERRITORIES: NAVARRA HOSTS THE NEXT ROUND OF THE 24H GT SERIES

Action in the 24H GT SERIES powered by Hankook continues with the inaugural Hankook 12H NAVARRA (20-22 April, 2018). Opened in 2010, the ‘Circuito de Navarra’ in Los Arcos in the Spanish Navarra region is a new venue for the CREVENTIC SERIES powered by Hankook. For the Hankook 12H NAVARRA, running from noon till midnight on Sunday, 22 April, over 20 GT3, GT4, silhouette cars, specials and Porsche Cup cars are expected on the grid. The Hankook 12H NAVARRA is the second round of the European Championship in the 24H GT SERIES powered by Hankook.

MS&AD ANDRETTI FORMULA E SET TO ELECTRIFY THE STREETS OF ROME

The ABB FIA Formula E Championship heads to Europe this Saturday, 14th April, for the first Rome (ITA) E-Prix. BMW works drivers António Félix da Costa (POR) and Tom Blomqvist (GBR) return to the cockpits of the MS&AD Andretti cars. Blomqvist was behind the wheel of the BMW iFE.18 in Maisach (GER) last Tuesday and completed the roll-out for the car, which BMW will be using for the works entry in Season 5 of Formula E.

WHELEN ENGINEERING RACING READY TO SPRINT IN LONG BEACH

This weekend will see the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship make the rapid transition from the second longest race of the year (Sebring 12 Hour) to the shortest one as the series heads to Long Beach for the 100-minute BUBBA burger Sports Car Grand Prix at Long Beach.

FERDINAND HABSBURG TO RACE IN THE GT OPEN WITH DRIVEX MERCEDES AMG

Drivex is set to field two Mercedes AMG GT3 cars in the opening round at Estoril next weekend. The full-season International GT Open Mercedes AMG GT3 in the hands of Marcelo Hahn and Allam Khodair will be joined by another “silver arrow” in Portugal. Not many racers will ever compete alongside their manager but Ferdinand Habsburg (AUT) and his manager double-World Champion Jamie Campbell Walter (GBR) will contest International GT Open at Estoril together in a Drivex Mercedes AMG GT3.
