The duo of the Imperiale Racing team, who had jumped to the top of the PRO classification during the previous round held at Spa, thus consolidated their leadership in the championship. The same can also be said for the pair of the Antonelli Motorsport team formed by Loris Spinelli and Juan Perez, who arrived first in the PRO-AM after an electrifying race end. Andrej Lewandowski, crewed with Philipp Wlazik in one of the cars of VS Racing, left all the other AM drivers behind, thus consolidating his supremacy in the same class. In the Lamborghini Cup, the Thai Supachai Weeraborwornpong (Team Lazarus) returned to the top step of the podium, from where he had been missing since the first race at Monza.
