TeamTGM claimed the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS class championship with the No. 46 Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis (JKTG) Foundation / Camp Boggy Creek Mercedes-AMG GT4 on Friday following a steady 11th place finish for Hugh Plumb and Owen Trinkler at the finale event at Road Atlanta.

Just over ten quick months after TeamTGM made its race debut with the all new Mercedes-AMG GT4 platform at Daytona International Speedway, the team heads to the final race of the season this weekend at Road Atlanta in contention for the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar GS Championship.

After scoring its third consecutive podium and second win at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), TeamTGM is looking to show continued strength in the final two races of the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season. The team has grown its IMSA championship advantage to 17 points ahead of this weekend’s visit to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the penultimate race of the championship.

On a hot and rapidly changing afternoon in Virginia that featured everything from heavy rain to sunshine, TeamTGM ignored the variables and stayed focused on the goal on Saturday’s Biscuitville Grand Prix. Outstanding team execution earned the group a second IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge victory of the season.
