Will Owen has arrived in Florida with Juncos Racing for the second race of the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Mobile 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

After finishing in 8th place at the 57th running of the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona with team Juncos Racing in their #50 Cadillac DPi-V.R, Owen is ready to get back on track. Owen will be joined by teammates Rene Binder and Augustin Canapino after competing together in Daytona for this weekend’s 12-hour race.

There will be 11 entries total in the DPi category, and the competition is sure to be tough. With the support of the Juncos Racing crew and positive testing at Sebring International Raceway under their belt, Owen and the team are optimistic about finishing on the podium.

Activities of the 67th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Advance Auto Parts will begin on Thursday, March 14th for the DPi category of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will officially be on track for Practice 1 at 9:45 A.M. “It’s time for another 12 hours of racing!  We are all excited to get back in the game after a short time off.  In the past few weeks, we have prepared a lot with our test in Sebring and a couple of days on the simulator.  In addition to our setup, we also pinpointed the exact cause of our problems in Daytona.  That was a huge relief for everyone.

I’m also excited to work with Agustin and Rene again. Both of them were fast at Daytona, and it’s always a pleasure to work with such professionals.  As usual, we must be patient for good results, but a comeback at this race would be awesome!

I’ve heard that this race is more difficult in certain ways than Daytona.  With one race under our belt though, I’m confident that the Juncos crew, Cadillac car, and us drivers can do the job!”
