Will Owen has made his way to Canada with Juncos Racing for the seventh round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix Presented By Acura.
Owen, and teammate, Victor Franzoni will start taking the No. 50 Cadillac DPi-V.R Juncos Racing entry around Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on Friday, July 5th for two one -hour-long practice sessions at 11:20 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. EDT. There will be a final practice Saturday at 8:00 a.m. with qualifying running from 12:25-12:40 p.m.

I’ve never been to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, but from everything I have heard I know it’s a very challenging track. When you add in how competitive the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is and all of the other traffic out there, you know it’s going to be very tough. I know I need to be my absolute best to get the most out of the car. We improved the car a lot at Watkins Glen, so we hope to continue the evolution of the Juncos Cadillac DPi. I’m happy to be back with Victor Franzoni as well. He’s a quick guy and I know we make a good team and will be going for a good result.”
