Team Parker Racing is delighted to have secured back-to-back Entrants’ Championship titles in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB after another season of superb performances in the closely fought series.

An ever-present outfit in the championship since its inception in 2003, when current Team Manager Barry Horne claimed the inaugural title, Team Parker Racing is one of the most successful in its history, having secured 17 different titles in 19 seasons.

In 2020 the team became champions in the Pro, Pro-Am, and Am classes, as well as the Entrants’ standings and this year has helped Kiern Jewiss to the Rookie crown while retaining its teams’ award.

In addition, with just two races left to run, both Kiern and reigning champion Harry King remain in mathematical contention for the overall title, Ryan Ratcliffe is just a handful of points away from the Pro-Am honours, and the team is in prime position to secure the Am championship as Justin Sherwood and Justin Armstrong currently sit one-two in the standings.

Such remarkable results come thanks to the ethos of teamwork and partnership which runs throughout the team, where continued success and victories on track are not taken for granted and each member of staff wearing the familiar blue colours works to their fullest to give the drivers the best chance on track.

The team remains fully focussed on delivering as many titles as possible at the final meeting of the season at Brands Hatch in Kent over the weekend of October 23/24, as well as in the British GT Championship and Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, both of which conclude this coming weekend, October 16/17, at Donington Park.

Stuart Parker, Team Principal

“I am delighted that we have secured the Entrants’ Championship of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB for the second year in a row. Our success is a result of the levels of preparation from everyone in the team and their desire to work hard, be the best they can, and back their colleagues up whenever it is needed.

“We have very good people in all of the right positions, and they make sure their cars, championships, and departments are firing on all cylinders. The level of preparation they are working to and the amount of work and effort they are all putting in is phenomenal.

“On a Monday morning back in the workshop, when we sit for a recap, we always leave with the same message which is ‘work harder, work smarter, prepare better, raise the standard.’ I think our results reflect that and we know next year we’ll need to work even harder just to maintain our standards.”
