Team Raton Racing enters the FIA Motorsport Games that will be hosted this weekend at the Vallelunga circuit.

The squad led by Roberto Tanca will represent the Swiss flag, fielding a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 car in the GT Cup category for the Christoph Lenz and Patric Niederhauser pair.

Lenz spent the last two seasons in the GT Open Championship racing for the same team Raton Racing and took a podium finish in the last for the same team Raton Racing and took a podium finish in the last edition of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps claiming the third position in the Am class together with Stefano Costantini, Alberto Di Folco and Antonio Forné. Moreover, with Raton Racing he took part this year in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance where he secured a victory in the last round at Barcelona – again with Costantini and Forné, finishing third in the Drivers’ standings.

Niederhauser makes his return at the wheel of a Lamborghini, after he was crowned this year as the ADAC GT Masters Champion with an Audi. The Swissman already raced for Raton Racing in 2015 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.

Twenty-two countries will be represented at Vallelunga, the same number of the cars awaited on the grid. Free practice kicks off the weekend on Friday. The two 20-minute qualifying sessions get underway on Saturday from 9.45 am.

The 50-minute race one is scheduled on Saturday too, at 2.25 pm. Race two will start on Sunday at 9.30 am.
