After recently announcing her return to SRO America competition, Taylor Hagler will have her first official test  in the the No. 93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 Evo at The Thermal Club on February 26th ahead of the March season opener at Sonoma Raceway.  Hagler joins the 2019 SRO World Challenge GT America Championship-winning Racers Edge Motorsports team alongside fellow HPD GT3 Driver Academy graduates Dakota Dickerson and Jacob Abel. Hagler will contest the full  2021 SRO season, which is set to open at Sonoma March  5-7.

Hagler’s SRO campaign expands on her 2021 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge program, which opened last month in Daytona as she made her debut run in the No. 77 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Veloster N TCR.

As a graduate of the inaugural Honda Performance Development (HPD) GT3 Driver Academy, Hagler had the opportunity to participate in four test weekends onboard the 2019 and 2020 championship winning Acura NSX GT3 Evo. Hagler had the opportunity to learn from Acura pro drivers and IMSA champions Dane Cameron, Mario Farnbacher, Ryan Eversley, Ricky Taylor and Trent Hindman who all helped to perfect her craft on and off track.

Having tested the Acura NSX GT3 Evo at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Sebring International Raceway as part of the HPD GT3 Academy,  Hagler will add a new venue to her resume as she returns to the Acura driver’s seat at The Thermal Club. The 3.0-mile course near Palm Springs features a smooth surface as well as technical corners that will prepare Hagler for the season as she moves from testing to competition with the NSX in 2021.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 Evo and getting a head start on our season at The Thermal Club,” said Hagler. “It feels like a continuation of our work together in the HPD GT3 Driver Academy, so we should be able to jump right in and push forward with our program. The facility at The Thermal Club is second to none and I am looking forward to visiting there for the first time.”

Hagler will make her Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS debut at Sonoma Raceway on March 5-7, 2021. Live streaming of on-track action from the opening weekend will be available at www.youtube.com/GTWorld
