B-Quik Absolute Racing is pleased to announce that Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik will continue with the team for a second season in Thailand Super Series and will be aiming to defend his Super Car GT3 Driver’s Champion crown.

Sandy joined us for the first last year, switching to sportscars after several seasons racing Formula 3 and GP3 single seaters in Europe. The transition brought immediate success as the 24-year-old Thai driver instantly gelled with the team, got to grips with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo and raced to the Super Car GT3 Drivers’ title after claiming two wins and seven podiums from the eight races, including a stunning debut victory in the Bangsaen Grand Prix, along the way. He was partnered at the season opener in Sepang by Shaun Thong while for the remaining three rounds he shared the cockpit with Audi Sport customer racing Asia pool driver Martin Rump.

That success and the positive spirit Sandy brought to the team means it was almost a foregone conclusion that we would all work to ensure he continued with the team for a second season and so we are pleased to officially announce that he will look to defend the title with B-Quik Absolute Racing.

Since last season the team has been further restructured and the close partnership with Absolute Racing optimised. The team will be entered this year as B-Quik Absolute Racing and we believe that an even stronger package is now in place to underpin Sandy’s title defence during the upcoming four round / eight race Thailand Super Series 2020 season.

We would also like to congratulate Sandy on being picked as an official Audi Sport Asia driver. His success on his debut year driving the Audi R8 LMS GT3 last year marked him out and his promotion to the Audi Sport programme will clearly provide extra benefit to us this year as he gains greater factory-level experience.

Sandy’s team mate and further drivers will be announced closer to the opening round.

Henk Kiks (Managing Director B-Quik Racing): “We’re very pleased that Sandy will be re-joining B-Quik Absolute Racing for the coming season. Our first year with Sandy driving for the team really couldn’t have gone any better and we believe that now that he’s at home with both us and behind the wheel of the Audi R8 there is so much more to come from him and we expect plenty more fireworks on track during 2020. I would also like to congratulate Sandy on being chosen as an Audi Sport Asia pool driver, the season just gone clearly spoke for itself, and the extra experience he gains racing Audis this year and working closely with Audi Sport Asia will feed back into the team.”

Sandy Stuvik: “Super excited to be back with B-Quik Racing Team for TSS this year. We will continue the work we have done with our Audi R8 GT3 Evo and we’re looking forward to some stiff competition this season. I’ve heard lots of rumours about the other cars and drivers we will be facing and I’m relishing the challenge. Most of all I’m eager to get back out on track and trying to give my best performance whenever possible. Thank you to B-Quik Absolute Racing for their support for the 2020 season, now let’s go get some trophies!”
