Team REBELLION Racing will start the FIA WEC 2019-2020 season this weekend at Silverstone. Winner in 2018, the Rebells will push on track to do it one more time.

The promising performances achieved at the Barcelona Prologue last July announce a great battle in the LMP1 category. By entering two REBELLION R-13 cars for this first round, the Team is demonstrating its desire to enter both cars on each 2019-2020 season rounds.
The liveries unveiled at Silverstone will be provisional. The final version will be presented at the second round of the World Endurance Championship next October in Fuji (Japan).

Alexandre Pesci, President and Owner of REBELLION Racing

“This weekend we will line up two very high level crews to fight for the win at Silverstone. We won this race last season and the whole Team is more than motivated to do it on more time. Both cars are provisional and the Team REBELLION Racing will be proud to present the final livery at the Fuji round next October.”

Bruno Senna, R-13 N. 1 driver

“Looking forward to kicking-off a new FIA WEC season with the Rebells and in an ever developing LMP1 car. We’ll push even harder than last season to get our car to its limits and hope to push Toyota from the start.”

Gustavo Menezes, R-13 N. 1 driver

“Really excited to be back with the Team this year. We come back with an extremely strong line up. I am really happy to get Bruno (Senna) and Norman (Nato) as teammates. We will work very hard to close the gap between us and Toyota. Hopefully be pushing them immediately. Going into the 2019-2020 season and looking to just keep building momentum and see what we can hand up.”

Norman Nato, R-13 N. 1 driver

“Very happy to start the adventure with REBELLION Racing! Everything went very quickly for me between the discovery of the LMP1 category and the first race. Looking forward to being at Silverstone to start the championship, like many drivers it is a circuit that I particularly like. We will keep on working all week long with the Team and I am glad to have two very experienced teammates by my side!”

Nathanaël Berthon, R-13 N. 3 driver

“I’m very excited to be back in WEC and to race for REBELLION in the beginning of the new 2019-20 season. I’ve had great success in Silverstone in the past so I can’t wait to drive a LMP1 car around this amazing and fast race track.”

Loïc Duval, R-13 N. 3 driver

“Very happy to be back in LMP1 with Team REBELLION Racing! My previous one was in Bahrain in 2016 with Audi before stopping their program. This new challenge is exciting. I know a little Nathanael (Berthon) and Pipo (Derani), I am delighted to team up with them! While the entry is late but I am sure that with the expertise of REBELLION, we will be able to be competitive at Silverstone. It’s been a long time since I drove it, I’m very happy to finally be back on an LMP1 car in FIA WEC! The Barcelona Prologue showed good performances that look promising for the championship.”
