Team Raton Racing returns to one of the most prestigious Gran Turismo series announcing a partially new trio for the 2020 Endurance season of GT World Challenge Europe.

The squad led by Roberto Tanca, after finishing third last year in the Blancpain’s Am category, will field againg a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo car with a stronger line-up formed by confirmed Stefano Costantini and Swiss Christoph Lenz, alongside newcomer Miguel Ramos.

The experienced Portoguese claimed the GT Open title in 2015, ten year after he became the Italian GT1 champion. Ramos already made several appearances in the Blancpain GT Endurance and has a 20-year career in motor racing.

Costantini entered the last three seasons of the series with team Raton Racing, taking part in the GT Open and Blancpain GT championships. The Italian secured last year a brilliant third position in the Am category at the 24 Hours of Spa teaming-up with Lenz, following the podium of 2018 when he finished second also driving a Raton Racing’s Lamborghini.

“I’m convinced we have a stronger line-up than the last year and it will let us to aim at a consistent result”, Roberto Tanca said, “Ramos is a very experienced driver and we already worked with Costantini and Lenz in the recent years. In terms of performance, Lamborghini is a trump card. We are set to the first commitment a the Paul Ricard for this week’s two-day testing. We head to France with the right mood, but worried about the health emergency in our country. We are confident everything will get better soon”.

The GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup will start at Silverstone (10 May) before heading to Le Castellet (30 May), Spa-Francorchamps (26 July), Nürburgring (6 September) and Barcelona (11 October).
