Raton Racing by Target is set for the first out of seven rounds of the 2019 International GT Open that starts this coming weekend at the Paul Ricard Circuit, in France.

The Italy-based team returns to the highly-competitive series fielding two brand-new OPPO-backed outfit Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evos.

Raton Racing by Target enters a car for the 26-year-old Chinese driver Liang Jiaton, a former Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe class Champion, and professional racer Raffaele Giammaria.

Alberto Di Folco and Christoph Lenz will be teaming up in the other Lamborghini. The Swiss faces a full-season commitment, after having entered only two races in 2018. Di Folco, a 23-year-old Italian who won the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe title in 2014, has a three-year experience in the GT3.

Track action kicks off on Friday with the two free practice sessions. Qualifying 1 gets underway on Saturday at 10.30 am, followed by the opening 70-minute race of the International GT open season that starts at 3.30 pm. Qualifying 2 is scheduled on Sunday morning. The second race of one hour begins at 3 pm. Race 1 and 2 will be live-streamed at gtopen.net.
