Fresh off of back-to-back victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring and Grand Prix of Long Beach, Paul Miller Racing will roll off P5 for the Course de Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Madison Snow set a lap time of 1:25.260 aboard the No. 1 Quartz Engine Oil-backed BMW M4 GT3 machine. He and co-driver Bryan Sellers will be looking to move their way to the front in an effort to extend their 99-point IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD point lead.

Not only does the Paul Miller Racing team lead the season-long GTD championship fight, they also lead the IMSA Sprint Cup by virtue of their third consecutive Long Beach Grand Prix victory last month.

Previous results for Sellers and Snow at Laguna Seca include a fourth last year and second place in 2021. Bryan Sellers additionally has a win for the team co-driving with Corey Lewis in 2019.

“I’m really impressed with our team’s efforts this weekend to improve the car to where it is now from where we started the weekend,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller said.

“We’ve struggled a bit with the track conditions and tire degradation this weekend, but the team has worked really hard to improve session by session to where we could line up fifth on the grid.

“We still have some work to do for tomorrow, but hopefully we can come out of this race weekend with a good result and an increased championship lead.”

“Qualifying happened here at Laguna Seca and we ended up P5. That’s actually not too bad. We’re struggling here with the track conditions, so we’ve had to make a lot of improvements throughout the weekend. We were a lot better in qualifying than we were in practice, so I think the car and the team are headed in the right direction going into tomorrow’s race. Starting P5, I will do my best to work my way through the race during my stint tomorrow, but, after that, it’s going to be down to the team and Bryan to bring us home that podium position.”
