Paul Miller Racing heads to Connecticut’s Lime Rock Park this weekend with added motivation to put the 1st Phorm/Total Lubricants Lamborghini in victory lane.

Not only will the team be looking to repeat its victory from 2018 at the same circuit, but Bryan Sellers and Ryan Hardwick will be out to make amends for missing the previous round at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park after contact during practice forced the No. 48 entry off-track and into the wall at the high-speed Canadian venue.

This traditional visit to the iconic Lime Rock Park offers unique challenges to the drivers and teams. The 1.47 mile circuit known as the “bullring” is the shortest track on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship schedule.

At the 2018 event, Bryan Sellers and co-driver Madison Snow battled constant and unpredictable traffic on their way to victory while being closely pursued throughout the 2-hour and 40-minute sprint.

The team has finished fourth, second and first in the past four years and aims to continue that run of success this weekend.

“Lime Rock has certainly been a happy hunting ground for us in the past. It really is our home away from home for Paul Miller Racing,” Paul Miller Racing founder, Paul Miller said.

“It is a circuit I always loved in my driving days, and the team has a great record here. The guys have worked around the clock to prepare for this weekend, and I can’t thank them enough for their efforts. Everyone is very keen to get back on track this week.”

Qualifying and racing are all scheduled for Saturday, July 20. Qualifying for the event will be held at 9:35 am ET and can be followed on IMSA.com.

Driver Quotes

Bryan Sellers

“Lime Rock is an event that is very important to Paul Miller Racing and a race that we’ve had a lot of success at over the years. Last year was a defining moment in our year and the battle for the championship. I am personally extremely excited to get back there.
“It’s one of the hardest races we go to on the schedule. It’s always a hot, demanding race and very difficult in terms of tire degradation and brake strategy, and to succeed there, I feel that you have to get everything right.
“We’ve really had a rough couple of events, but we’ve shown a lot of promise. I think that this event in front of Paul Miller Auto Group and the home crowd would be the perfect one to do it at.
“We know we are going to have our work cut out for us, we know it’s going to be a challenge, but I think this is a great weekend to dig in and start to turn things around.”

Ryan Hardwick

“Everyone on the team is really looking forward to bouncing back at Lime Rock and the team has been working around the clock to get our Lamborghini ready to go after Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
“Those guys on the team are really the heroes of this sport. The driver’s get to stand on the podium, but the crew plays an enormous role in our fortunes.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on track at Lime Rock. It is a great little circuit where you have to fight really hard.
“This will be the first weekend where it is just the GTLM and GTD racing on track so the traffic will be a little easier to manage without the prototypes, but that does get negated a little because the track is only 1.47 miles long.”
