Montaplast by Land-Motorsport have big ambitions for the start of their fourth season in the ADAC GT Masters and hope to again play an important role in the title fight with their newly formed squad of drivers – 2016 champion Christopher Mies (29, DEU) will line up for the first time with Max Hofer (19, A) while Ricardo Feller (18, CH) and Dries Vanthoor (20, B) will drive the team’s second Audi R8 LMS. The Super Sports Car League season will get underway in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, 26th – 28th April.

“With Ricardo Feller and Max Hofer, we have acquired the services of two very promising talents. They have both impressed us with their strong performance and have earned this opportunity,” said Team Principal Wolfgang Land. “Along with Audi Sport drivers Christopher Mies and Dries Vanthoor, they form a potent team who are capable of achieving podium finishes in the ADAC GT Masters. After coming second in the drivers’ and team rankings in 2018, this year’s goal is to take the title, for sure!”

Wolfgang and Christian Land first entered the ADAC GT Masters as Land-Motorsport in 2016 and achieved a sensational result in their debut season by winning the driver’s, team and junior championships. They were title contenders right up until the season finale in the two years that followed and won the Pirelli Junior championship again in 2018. Also, for the third time in a row, Land-Motorsport were the most successful Audi team in the ADAC GT Masters.

The two Montaplast by Land-Motorsport Audi R8s have been fitted with Audi’s newly developed Evo kit for the 2019 season and have new livery, which, while still in the usual colours of white and green, features redesigned graphics.
