JMF Motorsports is a newly formed organisation based out of Buttonwillow, California.  Founded by long time motorsport enthusiast John Farrow, they will field a Mercedes-AMG GT4 for two drivers starting in the NASA Western Endurance Racing Championship for 2021, and moving to SRO later in the year.

“I have always loved motorsports from the time I first witnessed Can-Am racing at Mosport in Canada,” said John Farrow. “I am now in a position to support young, up and coming drivers, to help them realize their goals.  We hosted a driver search and selected Marco Kacic from Kelowna, BC Canada and Michai Stephens from Evanston, IL.  These two drivers impressed us way beyond our wildest expectations, they showed speed, maturity and didn’t put a wheel wrong throughout the tests.  With both drivers having primarily an open-wheel background, there is a lot to learn for them.”

The team is busy preparing for their first race event in Sonoma on March 28rd.  There will be more testing and preparation over the next few weeks.  “It has been a whirlwind couple of months putting this together and I have a lot people to thank that put in a lot of effort behind the scenes, and I simply couldn’t have done this without their help,” continued Farrow.

When asked for his reaction to being selected, Marco Kacic said “opportunities such as this do not come along every day.  The fact that I get to be part of it is amazing.  I am incredibly excited to get to work with the team and, especially, my team-mate Michai.  I want to thank John and the team for the opportunity and look forward to an amazing year with JMF Motorsports.”

Michai Stephens beamed “the magnitude of this opportunity is simply amazing, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been selected.  Everyone involved has been tremendous and made it easy to be excited, this will foster lifelong growth both in and out of the car.  I can’t wait for the season to start.”

“This is just the beginning for JMF Motorsports and the goal is to continue supporting up and coming drivers in the years to come, said Danny Kok, co-owner of Conquest Racing West “we have some very special young drivers here that can both make a career in driving.”
