DTM is all set for the 2023 season. A new era under the aegis of the ADAC will start at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben from 26th to 28th May. Fans of the globally popular racing series can look forward to seeing a spectacular field in sports cars from premium manufacturers Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche. A total of 28 drivers and 14 race teams are ready for the 37th season. “We are all set for the first season of the DTM under the ADAC umbrella. With 28 world-class drivers, 14 teams and strong partners, we have laid the foundation for a successful DTM season. Sustainable fuel and the proven concept of the ‘Bottle Free Zone’ from the ADAC GT Masters are helping us to set new standards for sustainability in the DTM. As we head into a new era for the DTM, we aim to pursue this path consistently in the future. We are looking forward to the season-opener in Oschersleben, as the DTM returns there for the first time since 2015,” said ADAC Sport President Dr. Gerd Ennser at a press conference during DTM testing on Sunday at the Red Bull Ring.

The topic of sustainability has taken pole position in the DTM. For the first time, the race cars will be using environmentally friendly, innovative fuel from Shell, 50 percent of which consists of renewable components. This fuel is making a significant contribution to C02 reduction. With BWT, the ADAC has confirmed that it will chart a course to avoiding plastic waste. Water dispensers in the paddock will provide fresh, chilled drinking water at DTM events.

Spectators at the eight DTM events in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria will benefit from a more attractive pricing system. The ADAC has developed a structure to reduce the price of DTM tickets by up to 20 Euro on average. Admission tickets are already available at dtm.com from 39 Euro. ADAC members enjoy a discount of ten percent on advance sales. In two of the five price categories, children and youths under 16 years of age enjoy free admission when accompanied by an adult. All tickets include paddock access, which is limited due to capacity reasons at the Sachsenring.

Fans at home can also experience the DTM in DTM: ProSieben will broadcast the racing action into the living room with a comprehensive live show at 13:00 on each Saturday and Saturday. For the second season in a row, ProSieben will also broadcast the qualifying sessions live on ran.de. The proven #ranDTM team will continue to guide you through the events with presenters Andrea Kaiser and Matthias Killing alongside commentator Eddie Mielke. The extensive DTM TV package will be rounded off with global broadcasts to more than 70 countries.
