Over 7 kms in the middle of the Blue Ardennes. Blue like the dominant color of the livery of the number 47 Dallara LMP2, that is ready to re-start the engine alongside the circus of FIA WEC Championship.

After a 172-day break, team Cetilar Racing returns to track this coming weekend for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps that resumes the 2019/2020 season ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans which will take place behind closed doors on late September.

In Belgium, Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi will share again the AF Corse-run car, completing an all “made in Italy” squad.

For many people the Spa circuit is one of the most fascinating. For sure one historical track, that hosted a number of challenges involving famous brands and drivers. Eau Rouge, Raidillon, Blanchimont, the Bus Stop, La Source, Stavelot and the very long straight of Kemmel, are true mystical places for the motorsport fans. This classic of Spa for many years was the scenario of the World Sportscar Championship. Ludovico Scarfiotti, Arturo Merzario, Mauro Baldi and Riccardo Patrese are some of the drivers that won that race.

At his maiden season in the WEC, team Cetilar Racing now targets more silverware. Following the sixth position in LMP2 it claimed at Silverstone last September, the Italian squad finished seventh at Fuji and Shanghai, ninth in Bahrain and eight at the Lone Star Le Mans hosted by the Austin track this year on February, just a few weeks before the global lockdown.

The weekend of Spa will get underway on Thursday afternoon at 16.25 with the first free practice. Two more sessions are scheduled on Friday from 9.30 and 14, ahead of the qualifying at 18. The 6-hour race will start on Saturday at 13.30.
