Antonelli Motorsport will field a brand-new Mercedes-AMG GT3 car in the opening race of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, scheduled for the next weekend in Monza.
At its home track the Italy-based squad enters an Am crew formed by Giuseppe Cipriani, Davide Roda and team owner Marco Antonelli. Only one week after claiming a fourth and fifth overall place in the first race of the Italian GT on the same circuit, team Antonelli Motorsport aims to repeat a good result.
Cipriani is a former Auto GP driver who raced last year in the International GT Open and Blancpain GT Series Endurance. Davide Roda is a Lamborghini Super Trofeo race winner who started his career in Touring Cars and one-make series. Marco Antonelli has a huge experience and recently claimed a win in the International GT Open.
This year team Antonelli Motorsport will participate in the Italian GT Championship and International GT Open, as well as in some selected events of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance like Monza and 24H of Spa-Francorchamps, next July.
The 3H of Monza starts on Friday with the Bronze test. Free practice and Pre Qualifying are scheduled on Saturday. The Qualifying session gets underway on Sunday morning at 9,45. Main Race starts at 3 pm.
