RICHIE MORRIS RACING ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF McELROY PACKAGING FOR THE 2016 AMA PRO FLAT TRACK SEASON

As the anticipation begins to build for the 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track season at Richie Morris Racing, the team is pleased to announce the return of McElroy Packaging as the title sponsor for the team’s twin program.

McElroy Packaging has been a long time sponsor of RMR rider Shayna Texter and followed the 24 year-old AMA standout when she joined her current team midway through the 2015 season.

“We are proud to continue our long time relationship with Shayna and excited about our new relationship with RMR,” said McElroy Packaging vice president Steve McElroy. “With Richie Morris as team owner, it’s the perfect combination for a successful program. All of us at McElroy Packaging wish them both the best of luck for the upcoming season.”

The announcement of McElroy Packaging and the earlier announcement of Tucker Rocky rejoining Texter for the 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track season has her new surroundings looking very familiar.

“I’ve known the McElroy’s for sometime now,” said Texter. “They’ve become more like family than sponsors to me. I’m so happy to have them back with our Richie Morris Racing team and to continue to have their support for the 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track season is going to allow us to compete at the highest level possible.”

While his young rider already had an established relationship with the McElroy’s, team owner Richie Morris quickly got to know Steve McElroy and his family at the end of the 2015 season and couldn’t be more excited to have them return this year.

“The McElroy’s have been supporting Shayna for a long time,” said Morris. “I met Steve and his dad last season and you couldn’t ask for people who believe in and support AMA Pro Flat Track racing like them and their company. It’s a pleasure to have such incredibly supportive and genuinely nice people in our corner and to have them extend their partnership with us for another season.”

The 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track season kicks of at the Daytona Flat Track on March 10, where Texter and RMR will debut the American Honda CRF450.
