TIMO BERNHARD: “LOOKING FORWARD TO NEW ROLE IN THE ADAC GT MASTERS”

On the move from the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) to join the ADAC GT Masters, sports car star Timo Bernhard (36, DEU) will line up in the Super Sports Car League for the first time this year. In this interview, the two-time Le Mans winner and FIA World Endurance Champion, who recently won the Nations Cup in the Race of Champions, talks about his goals for the season and his role as Team Principal. The ADAC GT Masters season will get under way in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on the weekend of 13th – 15th April.

XK70 JAGUAR FESTIVAL AT SHELSLEY WALSH 9-10 JUNE 2018

Three of Jaguar’s legendary Group C cars, including the 1987 Championship-winning XJR-8, will be demonstrated during the XK70 Festival on 9-10 June 2018. The event, which celebrates 70 years since the introduction of the ground-breaking XK120, will take place at Shelsley Walsh in Worcestershire – and the trio of sports-prototypes will join a packed programme of entertainment.

BARTHOLOMEW AND PULL TAKE THEIR FIRST VICTORY IN RACE 1 AT DUBAI IN THE LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO MIDDLE EAST

Jack Bartholomew, member of the Lamborghini Young Drivers Program, has grabbed his first victory in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Together with his teammate James Pull, new entry of the team FFF Racing by ACM, the two young Englishmen have won Race 1 at the Dubai Autodrome, which is currently hosting the second round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East.

Registration for IGTC California 8 Hours Now Open

The entries for the Grand Finale of the 2018 Intercontinental GT Challenge, the California 8 Hours, are now open. The longest endurance race on the magnificent Laguna Circuit had its inaugural edition last season and will now be the deciding round for the only global GT3 championship. To facilitate the life of teams wishing to compete in both events, the California 8 Hours will now be organised on a new date, bringing the gap with the Petit Le Mans race to two weeks. The California 8 Hours will now be held from 25th to 28th October 2018.
