FABIAN VETTEL: “I’D LIKE TO STAY WHERE I AM”

His was the most well-known name among the newcomers to the ADAC GT Masters in 2019 – Fabian Vettel (20, GER, Mann-Filter Team HTP), younger brother of four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel (31, GER), was sharing the cockpit of a Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Philip Ellis (26, GB). The first season in the ADAC GT Masters convinced Vettel right from the start: “It is a mega competitive and professional series. If you can prove yourself here, you can succeed in GT3 racing anywhere.”

AUSTRALIAN GT RETURNS TO THE STREETS OF SURFERS PARADISE

After a mid-season battle of endurance that saw reigning Australian GT champion Geoff Emery and team-mate Garth Tander crowned champions in the 2019 CAMS Australian Endurance Championship, the series returns to sprint format this weekend with the Gold Coast hosting the penultimate round of the season alongside Supercars, with two 60-minute races on the beachside circuit, the first for AGT since 2012.

K-PAX RACING FINISHES FIRST AND THIRD IN BLANCPAIN GT WORLD CHALLENGE AMERICA VEGAS OPENER

For the first time since 2017, the Blancpain GT World Challenge is holding a multi-race day for Rounds 13 & 14 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where the K-PAX Racing Bentley Continental GT3s found traction at the tail-end of the points championship by winning the first round from pole position. The victory simultaneously marked a milestone for team driver Álvaro Parente, who became the team’s most-winningest driver in history.

LAMBORGHINI ANNOUNCES 2020 SUPER TROFEO CALENDARS AND EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH SRO

Three continental championships on sixteen different circuits in Asia, Europe and North America, for a total of thirty-six races. While awaiting the 2019 World Final in Jerez (24-27 October), the calendars for the 2020 Lamborghini Super Trofeo are presented with some big news along with some welcome returns to the championship’s origins. It all begins with the announcement about Misano Adriatico, which for the first time will host the grand finale of the Sant’Agata Bolognese sporting season. Both the Asian and European championships will once again be combined with the GT World Challenge championships organized by SRO, with whom Automobili Lamborghini has renewed its partnership for the 2021 and 2022 seasons as well.
