Christina Nielsen’s second race with Wright Motorsports resulted in a sixth-place finish at the famously difficult Sebring International Raceway. Her co-drivers Patrick Long, Mathieu Jaminet and Robert Renauer powered through the Mobil 12 Hours of Sebring in the team’s No. 58 Porsche Consulting/Porsche Digital Porsche 911 GT3 R. Valuable points were added to the Wright Motorsports IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GT-Daytona class purse after completing the grueling Floridian endurance race.

LAMBORGHINI WINS AT THE 12 HOURS OF SEBRING

Tequila Patrón ESM claimed a repeat victory Saturday evening at Sebring International Raceway when the No. 22 Nissan Onroak DPi crossed the finish line in first position after running for twelve hours and 344 laps. There was only one driver lineup entered in this year’s 66th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Advance Auto Parts made up entirely of past overall race winners. The second race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season (second round of the North American Endurance Cup) extended a 66-year tradition as Sebring International Raceway played host for the annual 12 Hours of Sebring. Perfect conditions saw the race run at a frantic pace in the opening stages before being slowed by a series of caution periods in the second half of the event. As darkness fell, the final two hours of the race featured a sprint to the finish with Ferrari once again well figuring in the final results.

The Porsche 911 RSR has scored its first win of the IMSA SportsCar Championship season at the Sebring International Raceway in Florida. At the 12 Hours of Sebring, the oldest and toughest sports car race in the USA, Patrick Pilet (France), Nick Tandy (Great Britain) and Frédéric Makowiecki (France) won the GTLM class with the 510 hp race car from Weissach after a heart-stopping finale on Saturday.
