A Cadillac DPi-V.R. won Saturday’s BUBBA burger Sports Car Grand Prix at Long Beach, but it wasn’t the one fans may have expected coming into the weekend.
BMW is once again represented with a strong contingent at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours (GER). The majority of those alternating at the wheel of the two BMW M6 GT3s fielded by ROWE Racing, with works support from BMW Motorsport, will be drivers from the GT works programmes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. A total of five BMW M6 GT3s will line up in the “Green Hell”. As well as ROWE Racing, FALKEN Motorsports will also run one car, while Walkenhorst Motorsport fields two BMW M6 GT3s. Among those in action at the wheel of the car in the livery of Premium Technology Partner Shell will be Augusto Farfus (BRA).

Action in the 24H GT SERIES powered by Hankook continues with the inaugural Hankook 12H NAVARRA (20-22 April, 2018). Opened in 2010, the ‘Circuito de Navarra’ in Los Arcos in the Spanish Navarra region is a new venue for the CREVENTIC SERIES powered by Hankook. For the Hankook 12H NAVARRA, running from noon till midnight on Sunday, 22 April, over 20 GT3, GT4, silhouette cars, specials and Porsche Cup cars are expected on the grid. The Hankook 12H NAVARRA is the second round of the European Championship in the 24H GT SERIES powered by Hankook.
