B-Quik Absolute Racing will run an eight-car team in the Singapore Grand Prix as TSS The Super Series support race will make its maiden appearance at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on October 1/2.

Whelen Engineering drivers Pipo Derani (Brazil), Olivier Pla (France) and Mike Conway (Great Britain) head to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for this weekend’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale Motul Petit Le Mans Sept. 28-Oct. 1.

Aston Martin’s Vantage GT3 heads into this weekend’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship finale at Road Atlanta, GA, on the brink of a historic achievement for the British ultra-luxury sports car brand. The 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America Presented by the Cayman Islands season ends with rounds 15 and 16 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, September 29 – 30. The premier one-make series has enjoyed remarkable growth in its second season in all areas. This weekend that continued success includes on-track action with 35 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race cars entered for the Braselton, Georgia track. Championships in its three classes and the Entrants title are all undecided as practice begins on Wednesday, September 28. The 2.54-mile, 12-turn race course with its long straights, sweeping corners, technical turns and elevation changes cut through the red Georgia clay northeast of Atlanta plays host to the final two 40-minute races of the series’ second year. With four drivers capable of capturing the Pro class title, two in the Pro-Am category and three in the Am class – all racing the same type 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car directly based on the road-going Porsche 911 GT3 – who will stand at the front of the Celebration of Champions to receive the impressive list of awards and trophies all comes down to this weekend.

With testing already started for next year’s BMW M Hybrid V8 GTP class contender, BMW M Team RLL will return its focus on the final race for the BMW M4 GT3 at this Saturday’s MOTUL Petit Le Mans.

Dallas-based NTE Sport/SSR is in the south this week for the grand finish to the 2022 WeatherTech Championship season. Trio Don Yount, Jaden Conwright, and Marco Holzer rejoin together for the 10-hour endurance race and 25th Anniversary of the Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road America in the GTD No. 42 Huracan GT3 Evo.

After Bathurst and Spa, the next highlight in the Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli (IGTC) is on the schedule for Mercedes-AMG. In the Indianapolis 8 Hour, the teams with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 want to continue their successful streak. During the season opener at Mount Panorama, there was a lock-out of the top three, followed by another overall win in the 24-hour race in the Belgian Ardennes. With five out of six possible podium slots, Mercedes-AMG is clearly in the lead of both the drivers’ and manufacturers’ standings. The upcoming 8-hour race in Indianapolis (8th October 2022) is the penultimate IGTC round and also the finale of the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS. In total, eight Mercedes-AMG GT3 are competing at the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

TSS The Super Series is ready to join the Singapore Grand Prix support programme this coming weekend (30 Sep – 2 Oct) with a 25 strong entry packed with the latest GT3, GT4 and GTC cars.

Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) has its sights set on claiming a third IMSA WeatherTech Championship title following Saturday’s Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Entering the 25th Anniversary Motul Petit Le Mans, Porsche customer programs are not only contenders for victory at the silver anniversary of the 10-hour classic American endurance race but also for championships in every major GT category. Three Porsche 911 GT3 R race cars are entered for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on October 1. The No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche will represent the German sports car manufacturer in the GTD Pro class with Wright Motorsports and Hardpoint carry the banner in the GTD class. Pfaff and Wright are each targeting back-to-back WeatherTech crowns with the  510 hp Porsche 911 GT3 R race cars.

The GT4 European Series season finale promises to be a nail-biting weekend, with all three drivers’ championships set to be decided across two packed sprint races in Spain.

Following a long break, the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship and Cetilar Racing are back this week for the fourth and last event of the Michelin Endurance Cup season.

Porsche Carrera Cup GB – the fastest single-marque GT racing championship in the UK – travelled to Silverstone for its penultimate weekend of the season. Kiern Jewiss (Team Parker Racing) drove to two overall victories, significantly bolstering his championship chances. However, the Pro category title fight will go down to the wire at the season finale at Brands Hatch in October. Meanwhile, a jubilant Charles Rainford (CCK Motorsport) secured two category wins – enough to see him crowned provisional 2022 Pro-Am champion at Silverstone.

Andrea Caldarelli was all smiles when he met teammate Michele Beretta in Sebring International Raceway Victory Lane. Following a win that sealed the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS Team Championship for K-PAX Racing, a sweep of the weekend rewarded Caldarelli with a crown of his own. K-PAX Racing earned four podiums in Rounds 11 & 12, on its way to clinch multiple titles ahead of the season finale.

Dennis Olsen (NOR) and Laurens Vanthoor (BEL) faced a difficult weekend. At the penultimate DTM event of the season, accidents and the wrong tire strategy prevented the hoped-for pursuit of points.

Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific’s teams and drivers enjoyed plenty of success this weekend, with strong showings in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), GT World Challenge Asia and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA).

The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland has a new champion: Laurin Heinrich (SSR Huber Racing) took home an early crown in the German Porsche one-make cup after winning Sunday’s race at the Sachsenring. With 268 points to his credit, the 20-year-old from Würzburg holds an unassailable lead at the top of the standings. The Porsche Junior paved the way for the title decision with his victory at race 14 on Sunday on the racetrack near Chemnitz and relegated Dylan Pereira (Luxembourg/IronForce Racing by Phoenix) and Lorcan Hanafin (United Kingdom/Fach Auto Tech) to positions two and three. As his closest rival for the title, Larry ten Voorde (Netherlands/Team GP Elite) occupied fourth place. “It’s a fantastic feeling to now be the new champion. When I saw my team cheering at the pit wall at the finish, it was an indescribably wonderful moment. The fans in the grandstands at the Sachsenring applauded me too during my cool-down lap. Crazy!” said the ecstatic Heinrich.

Thrilling racing at the penultimate round of the ADAC GT Masters at the Sachsenring. Constant changes in position, a bad day for the favourites, and tragic retirements – the spectators in the packed grandstands were treated to magnificent motorsport on Sunday. After 44 eventful laps, Marvin Dienst (25/Lampertheim) was first across the finish line in the #8 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo to claim his second win in the German GT Championship. “That is my second victory in the ADAC GT Masters, and both have come at the Sachsenring. I know where to overtake here, which helped me,” explained Dienst. His young partner, ADAC Stiftung Sport driver Jan Marschalkowski (19/Inning), was also delighted to get his maiden win as a rookie. Championship leader Raffaele Marciello (27/CH), who alternated with Daniel Juncadella (31/E) at the wheel of the #48 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, came home second after a controlled race. In doing so, the driver from Mann-Filter Team Landgraf extended his lead in the table. Local favourite Maximilian Paul (22/Dresden) and Marco Mapelli (35/I) were third in the #71 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo. The ADAC GT Masters weekend at the Sachsenring was watched by 26,000 spectators – the sixth crowd record in a row at the sixth round of the season.
