With 11 racing events including MotoGP, NASCAR TRUCK, and INDYCAR taking place during the 34th racing week of 2019 it can be difficult to follow all the high-speed action. So to get you up to speed here are some of the major highlights from the 34th motorsports racing week.

Following the endurance races in Australia and Europe, the Intercontinental GT Challenge moves on to Asia next weekend (August 24-26) when the inaugural Suzuka 10 Hours unites GT3 supercars, teams and drivers from around the world and across Japan for the first time.

AUDI SPORT CONFIRMS TEAMS AND DRIVERS FOR THE SUZUKA 10 HOURS

Intercontinental GT Challenge championship leaders Audi Sport have confirmed the five teams and driver crews set to contest this year’s inaugural Suzuka 10 Hours on August 24-26.

STRAKKA RACING CONFIRM THREE CAR ENTRY FOR SUZUKA 10 HOURS

Strakka Racing announces today that it will field an increased three-car Mercedes-AMG GT3 entry for the Intercontinental GT Challenge Suzuka 10 Hours in Japan on 26 August. Strakka Racing is an official customer racing team of Mercedes-AMG.

CRAFT-BAMBOO RACING SECURES TWO LE MANS WINNERS FOR SUZUKA 10 HOUR LINE-UP

Craft-Bamboo Racing has secured two recent 24 Hours of Le Mans winners for their Suzuka 10 Hour driver line-up. This announcement comes only five days after Laurens Vanthoor and Kevin Estre took victory in the GTE Pro class at the world famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in the world’s most iconic Porsche, the ‘Pink Pig’. Completing the trio will be young Porsche driver, Mathieu Jaminet, who is best known for his domination of the Porsche Carrera Cup France. Both the team and drivers are solely focused on claiming victory in the ten-hour endurance event which will run from the 24th-26thof August as part of the SRO’s Intercontinental GT Challenge.

CITY CENTRE GT3 PARADE AND AWA-TORA FAN FESTIVAL CONFIRMED FOR SUZUKA 10 HOURS

The inaugural Suzuka 10 Hours will include a GT3 supercar parade through the city centre on August 23 ahead of Asia’s Intercontinental GT Challenge round.
