ESM RETURNS TO ROAD AMERICA TO DEFEND DPi WIN

After a series of challenging races in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Tequila Patrón ESM is pressing on to the next round in the championship to Road America, where the team earned Nissan its first DPi win in 2017. Drivers Johannes van Overbeek and Pipo Derani brought the No. 22 Nissan Onroak DPi to victory with drivers Scott Sharp and Ryan Dalziel finishing third in the No. 2 Nissan Onroak DPi, scoring the team a double podium finish.

ESM NISSAN DPis SEEK TO CONQUER UNFINISHED BUSINESS AT WAKTINS GLEN

As the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship reaches the halfway point in the 2018 season, the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup resumes this weekend at Watkins Glen International. The Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen is the third race in the four races that make up the TPNAEC, an endurance championship within the existing calendar. While a win at Watkins Glen International has eluded Tequila Patrón ESM, the prototype team has dominated qualifying the last two years, earning pole positions in 2016 and 2017.

ESM BRINGS NISSAN PROTOTYPES TO MID-OHIO

Following a second place finish last month at the Long Beach Grand Prix, Tequila Patrón ESM will travel to Lexington, Ohio this weekend for the next round in the IMSA WeatherTech series, the Acura SportsCar Challenge at Mid-Ohio SportsCar Course. The No. 2 Nissan Onroak DPi and the No. 22 Nissan Onroak DPi have each celebrated podium finishes in the last two races, and will look to carry that momentum into round four of the championship.

On a warm and sunny weekend in Texas, 17-year-old Parker Chase and co-driver Ryan Dalziel, drivers of the #19 Vertical Bridge / New Braunfels Convention and Visitors Bureau / ProBalance Protein Water / Music Movement Audi R8 showed persistence at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Taking on the Pirelli World Challenge SprintX GT Pro/Am program, Chase and Dalziel overcame an unfortunate shunt on the during Saturday’s event to stand on the podium on Sunday.
