PORSCHE WINS ALL IMSA GTD PRO TITLES WITH PFAFF MOTORSPORTS_63396cb35cc90.jpeg

Porsche has won the manufacturer’s championship in the GTD-Pro class. The customer team Pfaff Motorsports secured the title, with Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet crowned the new driver champions. These were the results after the finale of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. The Porsche customer team from Canada finished the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta in third place. The Porsche 911 GT3 R fielded by Wright Motorsports crossed the finish line in fourth place in the GTD category.

CRAFT-BAMBOO RACING SECURES TWO LE MANS WINNERS FOR SUZUKA 10 HOUR LINE-UP

Craft-Bamboo Racing has secured two recent 24 Hours of Le Mans winners for their Suzuka 10 Hour driver line-up. This announcement comes only five days after Laurens Vanthoor and Kevin Estre took victory in the GTE Pro class at the world famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in the world’s most iconic Porsche, the ‘Pink Pig’. Completing the trio will be young Porsche driver, Mathieu Jaminet, who is best known for his domination of the Porsche Carrera Cup France. Both the team and drivers are solely focused on claiming victory in the ten-hour endurance event which will run from the 24th-26thof August as part of the SRO’s Intercontinental GT Challenge.

PORSCHE EXPANDS ITS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Porsche is expanding its successful and sustainable youth development programme in international motorsport. In 2018, four Young Professionals will be sponsored on the international GT racing scene. Two Porsche Juniors will receive training to become a professional racing driver in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which features on the same bill as Formula 1.
