Porsche Carrera Cup GB – the fastest single marque GT racing championship in the UK – arrived in Norfolk for its penultimate weekend with championship battles intensifying. Lorcan Hanafin (JTR) topped first Practice on Friday, conducted in dry conditions, while Porsche GB 2020 / 2021 Junior Harry King (Team Parker Racing) set the benchmark time in the afternoon’s wet session. Esmee Hawkey (Team Parker) and Pro-Am category rival Ryan Ratcliffe (Team Parker) were closely matched all day, the fastest Am was category championship leader Justin Sherwood (Team Parker Racing) on a weekend when he was within touching distance of category title glory.

Friday’s Practice sessions were conducted in dry weather conditions on the short and challenging 1.26-mile Fife circuit. Porsche GB 2020 / 2021 Junior Harry King (Team Parker Racing) continued his impressive run to head both morning and afternoon sessions, championship rival Josh Webster (Team Parker Racing) finished third in both. Pro category drivers Sam MacLeod (JTR) and Scott McKenna (Redline Racing) showed strong form, each finishing a session as the highest placed Rookie. Esmee Hawkey (Team Parker) was Friday’s fastest Pro-Am category driver, John Ferguson (Team Redline Racing) topped Am.

Porsche Carrera Cup GB – the fastest single marque GT racing championship in the UK – moved to Oulton Park in Cheshire for Rounds Five and Six of the rapid-fire 2020 season. Mixed weather conditions resulted in a wet first Practice session topped by Porsche GB 2020 / 2021 Junior Harry King (Team Parker Racing) and teammate Josh Webster (Team Parker Racing). The pair resumed their intense battle for supremacy in the afternoon’s dry second Practice, ending the session in the same order. Teammates Ryan Ratcliffe (Team Parker) and Esmee Hawkey (Team Parker) topped a session each in Pro-Am, while Justin Sherwood (Team Parker Racing) stamped his authority on the weekend as Friday’s quickest Am.
