LOTS AT STAKE IN THE 24H PORTIMAO

For the third consecutive year, the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve serves as the venue for the Hankook 24H PORTIMAO. The event in Portugal is the first of two 24-hour races in Europe organised by Dutch agency CREVENTIC, counting towards the 24H SERIES Europe and the 24H SERIES Continents, both powered by Hankook. With the event featuring the GT division and the TCE division, a good mix of GTs and touring cars is expected for the Portuguese round. Both divisions will have separate starting groups and prize-giving ceremonies.

SCUDERIA PRAHA STILL UNDEFEATED AT THE 12H BRNO

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) continues its undefeated streak at the Hankook 12H BRNO with its third consecutive victory at the event. Matteo Malucelli crossed the finishing line to complete 321 laps of the 5.403km Automotodrom Brno, securing not only the team’s hat trick at the event but also its third successive win of the 2019 European Championship, following wins in Mugello and Spa-Francorchamps.

SCUDERIA PRAHA LEADS AFTER THREE HOURS AT THE 12H BRNO

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) currently leads the Hankook 12H BRNO after three hours of racing around the 5.403km Automotodrom Brno. The local team, which has never been bested at the Czech event, has so far completed 79 laps after a strong opening run, but was unable to pull a lap clear of its nearest rival, the Car Collection Motorsport Audi R8 LMS (#88, Jürgen Häring / Taki Konstantinou / Tim Müller / Markus Winkelhock). The two teams will consequently start on the front row of the grid for tomorrow’s restart, and, crucially, on the same lap.

IT’S BACK TO BRNO FOR THE 24H SERIES EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

To popular demand from drivers and teams, the Automotodrom Brno in the Czech Republic is making its comeback on the calendar of the 24H SERIES European Championship powered by Hankook. The challenging track is hosting the third round of the European season, the Hankook 12H BRNO (24-25 May 2019) featuring the 24H GT SERIES and the 24H TCE SERIES, both powered by Hankook. In the best tradition of the race series organised by Dutch agency CREVENTIC, the GT and touring car fields will each have their own separate starting group and prize-giving ceremony. The race will again be split up into two segments with the first three hours to run on Friday and the remainder taking place on Saturday.

12H SPA GOES DOWN TO THE WIRE FOR SCUDERIA PRAHA

This year’s Hankook 12H SPA produced one of the most sensational endings ever seen in the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook, with the Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) snatching victory from the Herberth Motorsport Porsche 991 GT3 R (#91, Daniel Allemann / Ralf Bohn / Robert Renauer) during the final three minutes of the 12-hour event.

SCUDERIA PRAHA HOLDS SLIM ADVANTAGE AFTER FOUR HOURS AT THE 12H SPA

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) currently leads the way after the first four hours of the Hankook 12H SPA, having completed 81 laps of the 7.004km Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in the process. In contract to last month’s Hankook 12H MUGELLO, however, a frenetic opening to the second round of the 2019 European Championship has already seen 13 lead changes between six different cars.

SCUDERIA PRAHA TAKES 12H SPA POLE

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) has qualified on pole position for the 2019 Hankook 12H SPA. Matteo Malucelli lapped the 7.004km Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2m 18.266s to collect the Czech team’s first 24H SERIES powered by Hankook pole position of the season.

24H SERIES EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP CONTINUES WITH 12H SPA

Following the successful start in Tuscany, the 24H SERIES European Championship season continues in the Belgian Ardennes. The world-famous Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps will be hosting the second round, the Hankook 12H SPA (19-20 April). The 24H TCE SERIES and the 24H GT SERIES, both powered by Hankook, will be in action. Separate starting groups for the GTs and touring cars will be in place, adding up to a total of almost 50 cars in the field.

SCUDERIA PRAHA DOMINATES TO SEAL SECOND 12H MUGELLO WIN

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) opened its 2019 European Championship account in commanding fashion with a victory at the Hankook 12H MUGELLO. Matteo Malucelli took the Ferrari over the line to complete 330 laps of the 5.245km Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello and cement Scuderia Praha’s second victory at the fifth running of the event.

After a scintillating start from the second row of the grid, the Ferrari has led all 85 completed laps so far around the 5.245km Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, but will start tomorrow’s re-started ‘part two’ on the same lap as the Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3 (#77, Adrian Amstutz / Patrick Kujala / Phil Keen) after a stunning late-race charge from Patrick Kujala.

SPS AUTOMOTIVE PERFORMANCE CLAIMS 12H MUGELLO POLE POSITION

The SPS automotive performance Mercedes-AMG GT3 (#16, Valentin Pierburg / Tim Müller / Tom Onslow-Cole) has secured pole position for the 2019 Hankook 12H MUGELLO after a frenetic qualifying session in Tuscany. Tom Onslow-Cole lapped the 5.245km Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello in an astonishing 1m 46.828s, some 0.7s faster than the Hofor-Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 (#10, Michael Kroll / Chantal Prinz / Roland Eggimann / Kenneth Heyer / Christiaan Frankenhout). The Swiss team, a former 24H SERIES champion, secured its place on the front row of the grid on the very final lap of the session..

12H MUGELLO KICKS OFF 24H SERIES EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

For many motorsport enthusiasts, the wait since the Hankook 24H DUBAI in early January has been quite long, but finally, the start of the 24H SERIES European Championship season beckons. This week’s Hankook 12H MUGELLO (29-30 March) sees the 24H TCE SERIES and the 24H GT SERIES, both powered by Hankook, returning to the beautiful circuit in the rolling hills of Tuscany after a one-year absence. An impressive field of almost 60 cars is expected for the race once around the clock. The A6 class is spearheading the GT field with 19 cars entered, the TCR class is at the top of the TCE field with no less than 13 cars.

GPX RACING UNVEILS ITS AMBITIONS ON THE INTERNATIONAL GT SCENE

The Dubai-based company, GP Extreme, has restructured its activities and at the beginning of 2019 it launched GPX Racing, its competitions offshoot. It has chosen the new generation Porsche 911 GT3 R to tackle the forthcoming season with new ambitions in the international concert of Grand Touring racing. The team managed by former European FIA GT3 runner-up, Pierre-Brice Mena, is preparing to take on a double challenge: the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and the 24H Series, which GPX Racing has already kicked off on home turf in the Dubai 24 Hours.

THE 2019 24H DUBAI IS GO

At 15.00 hrs today, the 2019 Hankook 24H DUBAI got underway at Dubai Autodrome as His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and His Excellency Mohammed Khalfan Alrumaithi, Chairman of the General Authority of Sport, waved the flag of the United Arab Emirates to send off the 74-car field. The 14th running of the first international endurance race of the new calendar year marks the start of the Championship of the Continents in the 24H GT SERIES and the 24H TCE SERIES, both powered by Hankook.

SCUDERIA PRAHA IS A REPEAT WINNER AT THE 24H PORTIMAO

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) has taken victory at the Hankook 24H PORTIMAO for the second year in succession. Jiří Písařík drove the Ferrari across the line to complete 586 laps of the 4.648 km Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and take its second victory of the 2018 24H SERIES powered by Hankook season.

GP EXTREME LEAPS TO THE FRONT AT THE 2018 24H PORTIMAO

The GP Extreme Renault R.S.01 GT3 (#27, Frederic Fatien / Jean-Pierre Valentini / Nicky Pastorelli / Jordan Grogor / Bassam Kronfli) leads the 2018 Hankook 24H PORTIMAO after four hours of racing around the 4.692 km Autodromo do Algarve. The Emirati team, making only its second outing of the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook season, is the second A6-Am runner to assume the lead this afternoon, and the fourth in total so far.
