Team Raton Racing will start today the 24 Hours of Spa from the Am pole position. Making its return to the International GT in the most spectacular and prestigious race, the squad of Roberto Tanca has secured top spot of its class on Thursday’s qualifying with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo of regular drivers Stefano Costantini and Christoph Lenz, shared with Michael Petit and Silver racer Lucas Mauron.
The crew secured the best combined quick time due a stellar lap of Costantini in the third session. The Italian set the time of 2:37.824 to seize the first pole position at Spa for team Raton Racing, following two podium finishes in the last two editions of the Belgian race as it claimed P2 and P3 in the previous years.
In Q1, Lenz clocked a 2:51.753 to finish also in first in class. Petit topped the chart in Q2 by a 2:43.228, whilst Mauron finished third in Q4 by setting 2:39.091.
The 24 Hours of Spa will see more than 55 cars. Race start is scheduled this afternoon at 15:30, live covered at the official GT World Challenge Europe website.
